Sherwin and Debbie were converted in Gainesville and spent 17 years in New York City with the New York City Church of Christ's Music Ministry. Sherwin received his bachelor's degree in music from the University of Florida and his master's degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. Debbie received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. They have been married since 1979. Sherwin is currently the Director of Performing Arts at P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School. They have two children: Carrie Kelsey and Chase Mackintosh. They are also proud grandparents of Clare and Jackson Kelsey.
