Troy and Kim were both born and raised in Gainesville, FL and began dating after they met in high school at P.K. Yonge. They married in 1994 and now have two children, Corey (11) and Taylor (9). Kim graduated from the University of South Florida in 1995 with a degree in Professional and Technical Writing. Troy graduated from the University of North Florida in 1994 with a degree in Mathematics and then went on to join the United States Navy where he served as a Nuclear Engineer. Troy and Kim both became disciples of Jesus in 1996 and Troy later graduated from the Athens Institute of Ministry. Troy and Kim have been in the full time ministry since 1997 and started the Gainesville Christian Church in 1999. Over the last 10 years, they have spoken throughout the United States about building churches and growing campus ministries.
